Sequencing and finger independence · 60 seconds
Exercise
«Opposite finger taps»
Touch each fingertip with your thumb: the left hand moves from index to pinky while the right moves towards it. Reverse both directions after a full cycle.
Try with cameraCamera access is available only in the app, with your permission.
Step-by-step instructions
- Hold both open hands towards the camera without overlapping them.
- Touch the left thumb to the index fingertip and the right thumb to the pinky fingertip.
- Continue towards each other: index → middle → ring → pinky on the left, and the reverse on the right.
- After a complete cycle, follow the new prompts as both hands reverse direction.
What to pay attention to
Each hand follows a different sequence at the same time. Start with the index finger on the left and the pinky on the right, then move inward through the other fingers. Touch the fingertip pads clearly and release between steps so the camera can separate one touch from the next. After four synchronized touches, the app reverses both sequences.
Common mistakes
- Moving both hands in the same direction.
- Touching the next finger before releasing the previous one.
- Letting one hand race ahead or holding the hands too far from the camera.
Make it easier
Practise each hand separately, then combine the sequences slowly. Release the fingers fully between touches.
Once it feels familiar
Reduce the pause between touches while keeping both hands synchronized. Do not move on until both hands complete the current target.
Who can try it
Anyone interested in trying a short two-hand coordination task. Children can learn with an adult, without speed or score targets. Start at a comfortable pace and stop if the movement is uncomfortable. This is a game, not a health test or treatment.

Thumb / OK
Show a thumbs-up with one hand and an OK sign with the other. Swap both gestures together while keeping their shapes clear.

Combine two asymmetric signs: a finger gun and a horns sign. Swap them on cue without mixing up your fingers.
